Mountainside On-Ste Massage Therapy was the very first company to offer 4-Hand Massage On Demand in the Central and Northern New Jersey, as well as NYC area. 4 Handed Massage is sometimes called Tandem Massage, however this isn't how we refer to it. During a 4 Hand Massage session, you receive what would take one therapist twice as long to achieve, in terms of treatment. Significantly, 4 Handed Massage provides more, in terms of overall positive effects, than just having a session with one therapist for twice the amount of time.

Sports massage, prenatal massage, parties and events, hotel service, and even on-site mobile massage providing therapeutic massage in the workplace, may all be done as 4-Handed Massage sessions, with two therapists working on the client at once, instead of the usual single therapist. We are experienced massage therapists, working together doing 4-Hand At-Home Massage since the year 2000. In fact, 4-Hand Massage was our flagship service offered online back in '04 and earlier; this was the Mobile Massage service we became best known for, well before there was an established online 'In Home Massage On Demand' niche in New Jersey and NYC. Over that time, the popularity of Massage Therapy has grown, and as we have learned and worked more, adapted our sessions in accordance with new knowledge and insight.

We work together intuitively, effortlessly complementing one another's styles and techniques. To really do 4 Hand Massage well, the therapists performing the session should have experience working with one another.

Our distinctive style of 4-Hand is far more encompassing than the (now) standard 4-Hand 'mirroring' techniques utilized by most therapusts, having grown out of years of actually performing 4 Hand Massage At Home on clients. Mirroring has its serious drawbacks; we feel each therapist should be able to follow their intuitive flow and work as they see fit for each client, not follow a rigid pre-set plan.

4 Hand Massage isn't quite so popular, probably owing to the fact that it conveys the image of being unfrugal and lavishly luxurious. In harsher economic times, only those who are continuing to succeed usually don't mind such perceptions of indulgence. As a result, few people have actually had the good fortune of having had a 4-Hand Massage session, compared to standard sessions. In reality, the cost of such a session is surprisingly reasonable, less costly than having a two hour session with one therapist, for instance.
